Choosing Your Options

Most students study three A Level subjects over a two year course. You will already be investigating future paths in your Careers lessons and will continue to do so during this decision-making process.

EPQ

Many Sixth Formers also undertake an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) in an area of particular interest. An EPQ is valued by universities as it shows a student’s determination, ability to work independently and conduct research; all skills essential during undergraduate study.

The only requirement for each student’s project is that it looks beyond their A Level subjects. This means each project takes many different forms, allowing students to expand their interests, learn new skills and broaden their intellectual horizons.
Academic staff will guide you, helping you to plan, research and develop your ideas.
