Boarding - Key Stage 3

At Key Stage 3 we integrate boarders into the Boarding House during communal activities and icebreakers.

Having classmates in the same Boarding House means boarders can support each other with their prep and develop stronger friendships when it's time to stop working.

Weekly routine:

  • Dorms 2-7 people –  boarders choose who they share with and we are very flexible
  • 1 hour of supervised prep on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

  • Weekend Programme

Communal Common Room:

  • Pool table
  • Piano
  • TV
  • Xbox
  • Small kitchen area
  • Access to duty room for pastoral support and kitchen usage

There is a mini Prefectship in Year 9 which is awarded to a boarder who has had a hugely positive impact on the House.  This brings with it the responsibility of tuck and socials.
