Fees for 2020 - 2021
We aim to make our fees as inclusive and clear as possible to allow parents to plan in advance.
All our fees include break, lunch, tea and supervised prep. Boarding fees also include breakfast, supper and all laundry.

The deposit is payable when you accept our offer of a place. For those entering in September, this will usually be in the previous March.
Deposit is non refundable if the student fails to attend, otherwise it will be refunded after the student's final term.
The EU national fee and deposit will apply where either parent or the child holds EU nationality. In all other cases the non-EU national rates will apply.
The deposit is refundable on request after the leaver's bill has been settled; the Parent Contract refers.

Academic Support Lessons are delivered in timetable periods (1 x 50 minutes per lesson).
Charging is based per lesson or half lesson
No refunds are granted for non-attendance due to pupil illness or injury.

Explanatory Notes
Fees & Extras
Basic fees are charged in advance and extras in arrears.
All external examination fees are charged as extras.
Books will be charged only where pupils have written notes in the book or where the text is not repeated the following year.
Payment of Fees
School fee accounts must be paid in full by the first day of term, unless a monthly payment plan is agreed in advance. Please contact the Bursar, Mrs Aideen McCambridge for further details.
A 1.5% surcharge may be added to the total for each month a sum remains unpaid.
In light of recent advice under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 , the Terrorism Act 2000 and Money Laundering Regulations 2007, the School reserves the right to decline large sum cash payments for school fees.
Notice Period for Changes
A term's notice is required in writing if a student is to be withdrawn or a full term's fees in lieu will be due.
A half term's notice is required for a change in boarding or day status.
A half term's notice is required for a change to music lessons
A half term's notice in writing is required should a student wish to discontinue an extra activity or minibus school run.
Extra tuition is arranged between the teacher and parents and therefore no notice is required.
Extra Activities
The charge will vary according to the number of students in the group, as follows:

Extra activities missed through absence cannot be made up unless sufficient notice has been given and prior arrangements have been made with the school or teacher.

Insurance
Personal Accident Insurance is provided by the school. Details of the policy are available on request.
Pupils' Private Medical Insurance is available; please contact the accounts office on 01462 443886 for details.
Personal Effects and Fees Refund Insurances are available, please contact the accounts office on 01462 443886 for details.
Musical instruments must be insured by parents on their own insurance, normally the household contents policy.
Notice to Changes to Fees & Charges
The School's fees, charges and deposits are published in the current Fees List.
The School will always try to to give a full term's notice of changes but this cannot be guaranteed.
