Procedures for GCSE Results Day
/ Categories: General
We know that this year exam results are very different from before and we hope that the information below may help you in readiness for results.
Procedures for collection
When arriving at the school please ensure you are following up to date social distancing guidelines when moving around the site. Weather permitting, we would hope to arrange that all results collections will take place outside in the rose garden. The tables will be signposted with A-Z and these represent surnames. If there is no one else present at the table you can approach to collect your results. If another student is already there please wait to be called forward. If the weather is not suitable for outdoors, we will organise a one-way system through the main reception entrance to the school. Only students can enter the building and they will be given sanitising gel. We will be socially distancing and staggering entrance so each student should wait to be called through. They will collect their results, hoodies and drop off textbooks (if applicable), and exit through the rose garden exit. Upon arrival please keep distance if queuing.
Results pack
Included in the results envelope will be results, statement of how centre assessed grades were calculated by the school, Information for results ‘queries, autumn term examination series information and sixth form placement/ destination confirmation forms. Please ensure you read through all of this information carefully. There will be some staff on hand to help answer questions and queries, however the majority of the information will be available to you in this envelope and we recommend you read through this and please do contact the designated contacts with any questions you may have.
Unable to attend
If you are unable to collect results in person these will be emailed to the student directly alongside the other information that would have been present in the envelope. A paper copy will be mailed to you after the results day for your reference. There will be some staff in school on the day, however if you have any queries or questions please email our examinations officer, Mrs Beel, at exams@phchitchin.com.
This is a very unusual time and PHC will do our very best to support you.
Thank you for your understanding during these most unusual circumstances.
