We need your help!
Please vote for our entry to the United Learning International Art Competition. Our entry ‘Worn in but not worn out’ was created by the very talented Tanisha in Year 12. Below is her amazing painting, currently on display in the PHC Art Studio.
The links below will take you to the United Learning Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts, where you will be able to cast your vote. You simply will need to find Tanisha’s painting and like the image. Please share with family and friends, any support is greatly appreciated.
The United Learning International Art Competition
Five talented United Learning students will have their artwork displayed at the National Art Centre in Tokyo, Japan, representing the United Kingdom in the International High School Arts Festival. Additionally, the overall winning artist will receive an all-expenses paid trip to Japan to see the exhibition, courtesy of the International Foundation for Arts and Culture (IFAC).
Judging will happen in two stages:
Stage 1: Votes will be cast via Social Media by ‘liking’ their favourite piece. These scores will be combined with votes from United Learning Art Teachers to shortlist 10 artworks to progress to stage 2.
Stage 2: United Learning Headteachers and a professional artist will vote on their favourite shortlisted piece. All votes from Stage 1 and Stage 2 will be added together to decide our winners.
To give your favourite piece the best chance of winning this fantastic opportunity, please ‘like’ it and share it with your friends on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. ‘Likes’ will be tallied on Wednesday 12th February to shortlist the pieces for Stage 2
