BSA COVID-Safe Charter adopted at PHC
During these unprecedented times, we want reassure you that we are doing everything we can to prepare Princess Helena College for a safe reopening of the school in September.
We wish to give you every confidence that PHC is prepared for any eventuality, and that the health and welfare of our students is of primary concern.
There is a highly committed team of professional and friendly boarding staff, who will ensure that all arrangements are in place to care for our boarders; we will be looking out for them from the time they leave home, to the point they arrive safely at PHC. Once with us, in their home away from home, they will be supported to continue with their learning and to fully engage with boarding school life.
We are following the guidance from the UK Government and from the BSA COVID-Safe Charter. Our entire team are closely monitoring these guidelines and will keep you updated on any changes as and when they happen.
If you have any concerns our Head, Mrs Sarah Davis and/or our House Parent, Mrs Rachel Penberthy would be delighted to talk with you, over the telephone or by video-conferencing, in order to put your minds at rest.
We simply can’t wait to have our boarders back with us and we are ready and able to welcome them to PHC as soon as possible.
Please find a detailed plan to reassure our boarding community that we are a safe establishment, dedicated to the health and wellbeing of our students and staff.
