GCSE Results Day 2020
/ Categories: General
It was a very different GCSE results morning compared to previous years, with students collecting their results one at a time from teachers in the PHC Rose Garden. Despite the unusual circumstances it was lovely to see so many students in person for the first time since March.
Well done to our Year 11 students for their hard work and resilience. They have coped remarkably well with the huge disruption to their learning and the uncertainty over how their grades would be issued. They should be incredibly proud of themselves and their results.
A parent of one of our Year 11 students wished to thank the teaching staff at PHC this morning, “I am ever thankful and grateful to PHC. Our daughter has achieved what she has today thanks to her teachers here. Thank you PHC”.
Mrs Davis, Head at PHC said “I am so proud of our students on their GCSE results day. They have shown an incredible commitment to their studies over the past two years and continued to work hard throughout lockdown, taking part in pre-A level courses for their chosen subjects. 'I would also like to thank our teachers and staff for their ongoing support, encouragement and guidance to each student in their educational journey."
Term begins on Thursday 3rd September and we are ready and looking forward to supporting our Year 11s as they progress to Sixth Form.
