National Careers Week  (2 - 7 March 2020) aims to provide a focus for careers guidance activity to help support young people when they leave education.

A number of events have taken place this past week, as part of Careers Week at PHC, all with a focus on employability skills.

The main events were two workshops, one was ran by our Year 10 group for Years 7 & 8 and the other was ran by our Year 12  group for Years 9 & 11. Students were asked to breeak into teams to build a tower, this enabled students to develop their employability skills by learning to work together in a team.

Another activity for students in Year 7 and 8 saw them focusing on their key skills and identifying which of their skills they need to develop. Whilst students from Years 9-12 have taken the Buzz Quiz to look at what types of careers their personalities would suit.
