A Message from Boarding House Assistant Mr Reilly
/ Categories: 04 June 2020General
We sadly had to say goodbye, earlier than planned, to our boarding assistants in March as they returned home to Australia before Lockdown came into place. Mr Reilly has written a short letter which he would like to share with the PHC Community.
I hope you’re all doing well, and all remaining healthy and safe, and that online learning is treating you all ok.
I made it home safely on the 23rd of March and completed all the necessary isolation measures that Australia had put in place, and after what turned into 19 days in isolation I was able to see my family and my dog.
In the last couple of weeks I sent an email to your amazing teachers to just say thank you for the opportunity to come and work at a school like PHC. This thank you is one I really have to extend to you all too. I looked forward to coming to work and seeing you guys everyday. It was such an awesome and fun environment to work in, and it’s one that I miss still everyday.
I obviously didn’t get to say goodbye to all of you as well as I would’ve liked because I had to get home so quickly, but I hope at some point I’m able to come back to PHC and see you all in some form again, because that would mean the world to me.
Again, hope you’re all well and travelling ok, and that all of your Australian accents have improved a bit while I’ve been gone, because they all needed work :))
All the best guys, and hope to see you all at some point in the future.
